Setting up of the suite of products from GrapeVine Information Technology is quite easy for your database staff to understand and use, but of course, as much support as needed will be offered to the client to install and implement the GrapeVine tools.
Under the maintenance agreement, support is also offered regarding any new versions of the GrapeVine products due to enhancements of our products or changes in new versions of DB2.
If you require some assistance in improving the performance and availability of you DB2 databases, we also provide services on a consultancy basis.
Please see the Contact Information on the "About Us" page to contact our Technical Support team. prada replica handbags
Presentation: Turning the Screws on DB2 (5.4 Mbytes)
Explains how to use the DB2 monitor data to provide feedback on the configuration settings.
Presented by Bruce Allen at the International DB2 Users Group Conference in Sydney, 2003.
Presentation: Unscrewing the Utilities (1.2 Mbytes)
Details some experience in using database utilities on an 800 GB single node DB2 for Unix database. The limitations on availablity caused by the utilities became apparent as the size of the objects meant that database operations could take significant amounts of time. This was under DB2 Versions 6 and 7.1. Some effort was spent on reducing the elapsed time taken by the utilities.
Presented by Bruce Allen at the International DB2 Users Group Conference in Canberra, 2001.
